Treos, love 'em or hate 'em
Sep 8 2006, 11:25 AM EDT
What makes people so passionate about their Treo? I've heard such a strong mix of horror stories about lemons that just crash and crash, but others who just love them. Did they have buggy software in the earlier generations? If so, is it better now?

I like a lot of things about the Treo products, but I have found for me at least that the keys are too small to type well. The 700w seems to be a little better, but still not great.

I've always loved the Palm OS (since my Vx) and to have that operability in a device that's also a cell phone is just perfect for me. I only carry one device around with me and it does . . . everything. Perfect for travelling. In addition to the usual PDA stuff, I can read books, listen to music, watch movies, receive, send, and write e-mails, all in a small device. My 600 does have problems sometimes, but I wouldn't give it up (until I get a new Treo!)
